

Sylvester Cain of Driftwood, TX passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home early Tuesday morning, July 4th 2006 at the age of 80. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 58 years, Mildred; daughters, Nancie Marzulla and husband Roger, Judy Cuddy and husband Kevin; grandchildren, Desiny Villarreal and husband John, Kris McIntyre and wife Megan, Lauren Hicks and husband Anthony, Allegra and Marco Marzulla; great-grandchildren, Alex and Clarissa Villarreal; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Sylvester was born April 23, 1926 in Milford, TX. He was the second youngest of nine brothers and sisters, all of whom are deceased. He proudly served with the U.S. Army during WWII from September 1944 until November 1946. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 286 for 55 years before his retirement in December 1996. He enjoyed his flower and vegetable gardens, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was treasured by his many friends and family for his wonderful sense of humor and his joy of life. Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, July 6, 2006, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 7, 2006 at Wilke-Clay-Fish chapel, with interment to follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
