Sylvia P. Koffa was granted her angel wings on July 22, 2015. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in so many ways throughout her short, yet very memorable life.
Sylvia's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that, the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her beautiful smile and bright eyes brought so much joy to family and friends.
She gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. She loved soccer and was a member of the Crockett High School JV Girls Soccer Team. Sylvia could spend hours watching soccer games with her brother. She also enjoyed music and dancing.
Sylvia is survived by her loving parents, Timothy W. Koffa and Pamela M. Agbozo; brothers, Roosevelt Koffa and Keith Koffa; sisters, Christina Toe and Marilyn Koffa; grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., Friday, August 7, 2015 at Cook-Walden/Forest Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Bannockburn Baptist Church, 7100 Brodie Lane with Pastor Chuck Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
