

Sylvia graduated from San Marcos Baptist Academy and attended Southwest Texas State University. She married her beloved husband Adolph A. Lindsley, and traveled the world with him for 30 years in the United States Air Force. After retiring, Sylvia and Ad expanded their home based business, creating and selling embroidered unique dolls and quilts all over the United States.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Adolph A. Lindsley; and her father, Tom Serur.
She is survived by her three daughters, Pam White and husband Ted of Nashville, Tennessee, Susan Schiller and husband Bill of San Antonio, Texas, Teresa Dobson and husband Stuart of Atlanta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Christy Schiller Overstreet, Taylor White Lockwood, Adam Schiller, Kendall White, Amanda Schiller, Chloe White, Christopher Dobson, Emily Dobson; great-granddaughter, Kate Overstreet; her mother, Nora Hage Serur; her brother, John Serur and wife Judi; her sister, Jeanne Fischer and husband Fred; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 13 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home, recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 14, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church with Father Jim Schellenberg officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
