Teodoro T. "Ted" Garcia, age 74, of Austin, Texas was called home to his Heavenly King and Blessed Mother on October 21, 2008. He was a loving father and Popo. He is survived by the mother of his children, Gloria R. Cervantes; daughters, Gilda (John), Gloria, Diana (Ralph, Jr.), Susan (Joe), Carmen (Ernest), Stella (Chris); son, Johnny (Ms. Bea); twenty-four grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sister, Elida Salinas; brother, Jesse Villegas. The family would like to give special thanks to his caregivers, Diana and Gilda, Hospice of Austin, and most importantly to a loving caring friend who devoted her efforts to care for our father and family, Kendra Davis. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
