Tess Arciniaga

Tess Arciniaga a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished sister, passed away on September 2, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on November 30, 1967, Tess was the daughter of the late Robert and Teresa Tenayuca. She grew up in a close-knit family whose love and strength shaped the kind, compassionate woman she became.

She is survived by her husband, James Arciniaga, and their son, Isaiah Arciniaga, the pride and joy of her life and her stepchildren daughter Serhea Renee Arciniaga and son Brandon James Arciniaga. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Pat (Fernando) Baez, Robert Tenayuca Jr., Ronald Tenayuca, Nancy (Judson) Rand, and Tamara (Mick) Castillo, along with numerous nieces and nephews who adored their Aunt Tess.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Roger Tenayuca and Mark Tenayuca.

Tess will be remembered for her deep love for The LORD, her family, her caring nature, and her ability to brighten the lives of all who knew her. She treasured time spent with loved ones and beloved friends she left behind countless memories filled with laughter, warmth, and unconditional love.

She will be remembered forever.

A visitation for Tess will be held Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar, Austin, TX 78752. A celebration of life will occur Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM, 6100 North Lamar, Austin, TX 78752. A catered reception will occur Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 3:00 PM.
