He was born on October 29, 1941 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He lived majority of his life in Pennsylvania, as well as 10 years in Florida before he moved to Austin.
He worked as a self-employed contractor most of his life as well as serving in the United States Navy.
He is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth; his brothers Buddy, Raymond, Roland; sisters Betty, Sandra, Lynn, Margaret; and youngest son Roland.
He is survived by his children: Thomas and his wife Jeanette, Richard, Sandy and her husband Joel, Kelly and her husband Dave, and Susan and her husband Patrick. Tom is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Tom had many interests in his life, including playing poker, woodworking/crafts, flea markets, and doo-wop music, as well as a heated game of Scrabble.
Tom was also a faithful friend of Bill W. for 53 years where he served many in the fellowship. He will always be remembered as a kind, soft-spoken man who loved his family.
