Thresa Jeanette Benningfield

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, as well as her sister Bernice Polvado and brothers Jake McCaslin and Marvin McCaslin.

She is survived by her husband Morland O. Benningfield and their children Benny Benningfield, Phillip Benningfield and wife Denise, and Marla Benningfield. She also leaves behind three sisters, one brother, three granddaughters, one grandson, two step grandsons, one great grandson, two great granddaughters, one great step granddaughter, and one great stepson.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening, on Wednesday, the 3rd of October, 2012, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.

Graveside services will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 4th of October, 2012, at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North IH-35, Pflugerville, Texas.

The family would like to thank Ellen B. Smith at Texas Oncology for 21 years of care as Thresa battled stage three ovarian cancer.
