Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Helen Misko. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gerri, son John T. Misko of California, daughter Mary Kay Martinez married to Jesus Toro Martinez of San Antonio, and son Rev. James A. Misko, priest of the Diocese of Austin. He also is survived by his brother George Misko and wife Edith.
Tom graduated from Cantwell Catholic High School in Montebello, California and served in the United States Air Force. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Thomas More Council 9997 and a Fourth Degree member of the St. Maximillian Kolbe Assembly 2767, serving as Grand Knight, Faithful Navigator, and leader of the 4th degree exemplification team. Tom's career covered the movie industry, small business, and sales and marketing. He loved a good party and helping those who might not be able to help themselves.
Tom was a character. Even more, he had character. He loved his church and was always the first to volunteer for leadership roles.
Special thanks to the medical teams who helped Tom in his illness, especially the Seton Northwest intensive care group.
