

Tracey Leigh Crossett Tracey Leigh Crossett, born on September 29, 1986 in Austin, Texas died April 11, 2004. Tracey is survived by her parents, Steve Crossett and Faye Crossett; her brother, Travis Crossett; and grandmother, Sue Crossett all of Lakeway. Tracey is survived by five maternal aunts and uncles, 18 cousins, and 22 second cousins; she also is survived by a paternal aunt, an uncle, and 6 cousins, and numerous friends. Tracey was a 3-year graduate of Lake Travis High School for the 2003-2004 school year. She had completed all of her coursework and was set to graduate on May 27, 2004. As a sophomore, Tracey received the honor of National Merit Commended Scholar from her strong PSAT test results. She was an extremely intelligent young lady with a vast potential for her future. Tracey was part of an all girl band, The Quicks, formerly Catscratch, for the last three and-a-half years. She loved her music and had planned to own her own music production company. She started playing in music groups when she was 8 years old. She was the youngest student ever accepted at the music camp she attended and then the youngest music instructor (at age 15) to lead the 9/10 year old groups. There will be viewing and visitation from 2:00 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2004 at Lakeway Church, 2203 Lakeway Blvd, followed by funeral services at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the SIMS Foundation.
