Trent was a small guy with a huge heart and a love of life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved nothing more than to walk through the quiet woods at his farm in North Louisiana. He could sit in a deer stand for hours just waiting for that “monster buck” to cross the creek road. He spent many summer mornings and evenings fishing one of the several ponds on his farm. “Beaver Dam Sam” was the name of the elusive bass that was always waiting for his next cast. If his line broke, there was no question that the fish had struck and was even bigger than imagined.
Trent worked for over 30 years in the off-shore oil field production industry. During this time, he was employed by Island Operators and most recently, the Wood Group Production Services. He loved the friends he made out on the rigs, the adventure of being out in the wild of the gulf and always returned home with great stories of the fish he caught during his downtime. He took pride in living off the land, tending to his garden and cooking the catch or kill of the day. He also loved spending time with his family and enjoyed nothing more than a good crawfish boil on his back patio. Trent came into this world early at a mere 2lbs, 2oz. and although never big in stature, he had a big affect on the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He was handsome, smart, funny and extremely talented. He had a quiet character and demeanor and was a loving brother, son and loyal friend. Trent had a favorite saying of “huh, just my luck”! We are the lucky ones having had Trent in our lives. He will be greatly missed.
