On November 22, 2021, Vanessa Lubeck of Austin, TX went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 59. She was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Milford, CT, where she and her family were members until moving to Texas in 1970. She attended public school in Houston, TX, and was confirmed in the Christian faith at Gethsemane Lutheran Church. After moving to Austin, TX in 1982, Vanessa enjoyed spending time in the company of friends and family. She loved board games, watching movies, solving crossword puzzles, and playing with her cat, Tigerlily. Before retiring, she worked as a crossing guard for Austin Independent School District. Vanessa will be lovingly remembered by her children: Faith, Rita, and Aaron; parents, Howard and Cyrissa; siblings, Alan and Glen, as well as her longtime friend and partner, Douglas Cameron. She will also be dearly missed by her many other close friends and relatives. Very special thanks to Rev. Paul Harris of Trinity Lutheran Church in Austin, TX who ministered the forgiveness of sins from Christ crucified. Funeral arrangements are pending.
