A second "wow" for tonight....First discovered Rene Giraud, Victor's brother died, and now Victorous "Victor" Giraud died. Wow....Victor, including his brother and his sister, I knew many decades ago. For quick blip or two several years back I touched based with him. Victor, the adventurer, was a risk-taker and appeared to the end to thrive on the boldness. Glad he did some good. He did stay in contact with some from Hip Hop Central for about 30 years, Bronx River Projects, who knew from yesteryear.

Thank You for all the beautiful memories you gave me. Thank you for all the color and life you brought to our family! Your stand for God and your walk of faith was a blessing and admirable. Ill forever miss your big hugs and kisses, your laugh but most of all your snoring in the background of every family occasion. No one could ever fill the void you left in this family. And the light you had. Thank you for loving me unconditionally.

I feel lost in many ways you are not here today , but I will never forget you , and I know I have been bless to have you in my life as a friend.

Words can’t express how much Bro. Victor impacted my life. Since I was a little boy, he was always there taking me places, encouraging me, blessing me for good grades, feeding me, and staying on me in the best way. He helped shape the man I am today. My deepest condolences to Sis. Lady and the entire family.

...my condolences to the entire Giraud family near and far. My first memory of Brother Victor was probably late 70's, early 80's in Mason Manor apartment East Austin, myself, my brother and other childhood friends were so interested in this new brother in the church from New York with the beige BMW, he was so kind and engaging, he quickly became our friend riding us around in his white work van taking us to his jobs, the park, doctor and  dental appointments etc, like the uncle we never knew we had, we were so impressed with his drawing ability, his slight Yankee accent and New York demeanor. Myself, my brother Ronald, Wayne and Tre quickly adopted Brother Victor Bunnyfae Giraud as our new Uncle/Buddy/Friend whether he approved or not, this man left a lasting impression on us till this very day. We stilled talked about Bro Victor right up to his passing and will continue to because he etched a place in the heart of four little boys from Austin Texas that will remain for ever, with tears in my eyes as I write this, we sure gonna miss you and your gap tooth smile, Thank you for your service as a Veteran of The United States Army, you were a man of class, intelligence and numerous gifts and talents, you went into our hearts just being you, I also really enjoyed singing with you in Forerunner, I wish the band would have kept going, take your rest dear brother, love you man! This is not goodbye, it's I'll see you later.

My dear cousin-in law, you were always a good kind person and a great artist, I still have the painting that you gave me back in the days (1978) !!

Please rest now and paint for all your brothers and sisters in heaven!!
