Virginia Porras

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 infant brothers Juan and Lutherio, and brother, Jesse Porras.

She is survived by 2 brothers, Johnny Porras, Sr. and his wife, Janie, and Simon Porras, Jr. and his wife, Lillie, both of Manor; 5 sisters, Lupe Hernandez and her husband, Teddy, and Bernadine Perez both of Austin, Louise Morgan and her husband, Gary, of Searcy, AR, Carmen De Leon of Manor and Teresa Blangger of Lufkin; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews and cousins.

Virginia was a wonderful sister and aunt. She was very creative and a great cook. Her whole extended family will miss her very much.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock until seven o’clock in the evening, on Tuesday, the 27th of March 2012, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at seven o’clock that evening.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at eleven o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 28th of March, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1300 Old Highway 20, Manor, Texas. Interment will follow in Manor Cemetery under the direction of Cook-Walden Funeral Home.
