He was a devoted husband and family man whose greatest love was his wife, Vira. Their life together was built on deep love, companionship, and loyalty, and she was truly the center of his world.
After briefly attending the University of Texas, he proudly served four years in the United States Navy. A lifelong learner, he was intelligent, curious, and always teaching himself through books.
Golf was more than a pastime for him—it was a passion. You could almost always find him on a golf course during his free time, enjoying the quiet focus, the challenge of the game, and the time spent outdoors. Golf brought him peace, joy, and a sense of contentment, and it was one of the things he loved most in life.
Walton also loved Disneyland, a place that held special meaning for him because of the memories he created there with his nieces and nephews. Experiencing the magic through their eyes brought him immense joy, and those trips became treasured moments filled with laughter, wonder, and togetherness.
He enjoyed learning to fly airplanes as well, a reflection of his curiosity and adventurous spirit, but it was time spent with family—whether on the golf course or walking through Disneyland—that mattered most to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bessie and Walton; his brothers, Howard and Fred; his sisters, Becky, Mila, and Tula; and his brothers-in-law, Sal and Jose; and sister-in-law, Evelyn. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly and enjoyed spending time with.
Walton will be remembered for his sharp mind, his love of learning, his service to his country, and the deep devotion he had for his wife and family. His presence will be missed, but the memories of him will always be treasured.
