

Willesly was born on May 18, 1965, to John and Mary Reid in Jamaica, as the first-born twin. He spent over 30 years working in hospitality, contributing to various hotels throughout the Austin area. He was a dedicated husband, father, and brother, known for his charismatic and funny nature. Willesly had a unique talent for making the best out of any situation and was a lover of great food, always enjoying a good time. His pride and joy were his family, with whom he shared countless cherished moments.
Willesly is survived by his devoted wife, Vivienne Munro; his daughters, Dominique Wheatle and Monique Phillips; and his son, Jimmie Phillips. He also leaves behind his siblings: Oliver Reid, George Reid (his twin), Henry Downer, Carlton Spencer, Wanetia Reid Haughton, Mabel Reid, Karen Reid, Roslyn Downer, and Sheila Decombre Grant. He will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Throughout his battle with cancer, Willesly showed immense courage and strength, never complaining despite the chronic pain he endured. In his final days, he was comforted by the presence of his family and the home-cooked meals lovingly prepared by his wife. He is now at peace, free from pain, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Willesly's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the joy he brought to others. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
