

After serving as a medic in Europe in WWII, Otto returned to Austin to attend Pharmacy School at the University of Texas. He soon became involved in a life-long career as an entrepreneur and real estate investor. Otto and his wife, Betty, founded Master Valet Laundry and Dry Cleaning. Otto may also be remembered by UT graduates of a certain age for the Orange Bull Bar and Grill, located on the UT "Drag".
He enjoyed his retirement in Rockport, which he called "Paradise". He took great pride in his family, especially in his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Betty, his son, Malcom Otto Mittag, daughter, Kathy Mittag Dameron Gray; his five grandchildren: Gregory Dameron, Mark Dameron, Jessica Dameron Bassett, Jennifer Mittag Camp, and Megan Mittag Stewart; and two great grandchildren, Andrew Camp and Caroline Bassett.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3rd at the North Lamar Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home in Austin. A private internment follows at the Oakwood Cemetery.
