William Lawrence Roberson, age 91, went to his eternal home on Sunday, February 8, 2026. Born on November 16, 1934, in Qulin, Missouri. He had eight siblings. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He worked on a farm as a teenager. He then joined the military and served 20 years. He retired in 1975 as a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force, including one year served in Vietnam. He worked 15 years for White Swan Food Distributors and a year for the Guadalupe County. He worked hard all his life to provide for his family.
William loved to be with his family. Fishing and gardening were his joy. He was a kid at heart, loved to sing, whistle, and ride roller coasters. He passed the time away doing much tinkering on various projects. He had to have his coffee in the morning. He loved listening to old country music and watching his westerns. He enjoyed Gunsmoke and John Wayne. He looked forward to going to church and reading his Bible, which he did on a regular basis. He loved Jesus. No matter where he went, he would always greet you with his smile.
He is preceded in death by his parents, eight siblings, and a son, William Patrick Roberson.
He is survived by his wife, Velma Shelton Roberson, three daughters in Buda, Texas, Carolyn Torres (Paul), Retha Blumhagen (Neal), and Linda Victorino.
