Bill was born July 12, 1963 in Norfolk, Va. He died August 24, 2008 in Austin, TX. He lived in Guam and all over the U.S. until his family settled in Austin in 1975. Bill graduated from Westlake High School, St. Edward's University and proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Upon returning home to Austin, he enjoyed a successful career in the high¬tech community. He loved being with people, and especially enjoyed times spent outdoors, skiing, camping and biking with his many friends. He loved the Ross family farm in northern New York, his dogs and, above all, his family. Bill is survived by his wife, Laurie, and their dearly beloved daughter, Riley; his parents, Gail and O.B. Ross; his brother, Jeff and Annelouise Ross, and sister, Laurie and Jeff Culbert and their son, Nathan, as well as a large extended family and circle of friends who dearly loved him. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2008, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 3003 Northland. Interment will be held at Austin Memorial Park. A memorial fund has been established on behalf of Riley. Contributions can be made to The Ross Family Memorial Fund at any local Bank of America.
