He retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service. Willie had a generous heart, he used his gift to uplift and strengthen those around him. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and a forever friend.
Willie is survived by his wife of 6 years, Rebecca Briley; son, Marvin Briley; daughters, Michaela Toney, Amanda Wallis and Krystle Marrujo; grandchildren, Marvin Briley II, Christian Briley, James Toney III, Nicholas Wallis, Erica Marrujo and Alyssa Castillo Marrujo, Marvin and Michaela Briley and their mother, Daniela; brothers, Greg, Charlie, Amos, George, Roy and Quintin Briley; sisters, Christine McGeathey, Mable Nesbit, Verna Briley, Sadie Hannah, Ella Brown and Iceleen Briley.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2013 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2013 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
