Willie B. Dougherty, age 77, of Austin, passed away peacefully at home on December 11, 2003. He was born January 20, 1926 to G. B. and Roberta Dougherty. In 1951, Willie B. met and married the love of his life, Pauline (now deceased), at the Bluebonnet Cafe, in Marble Falls, Texas. He was devoted to his family and friends. Willie B. would give you the shirt off his back. He was kind to all, and a truly good man. Survivors include his sons, Roy Dean Dougherty and wife Janet, of Houston, Richard D. Dougherty, of Austin, Roger Dale Dougherty and wife Patricia, of Austin, and David Lee Dougherty and wife Betty, of Oak Hill; daughter, Margie Dougherty Milstead and husband Jimmy, of Oak Hill; brother, Carroll Dougherty of Del Valle; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00 7:00 p.m., Saturday, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 14, 2003, at Fiskville Cemetery. Pallbearers include Joe Dougherty, Roger Dougherty II, David Dougherty II, Billy Dougherty, Frankie Teague and Samuel Teague.
