Willie Golda Davenport Oler, Billie, died Saturday, February 17, 2007. She was born in Hainesville, Texas on March 25, 1914. She married Lowell Byron Oler (L.B.) on April 5, 1932. They moved to El Paso where they lived until 1978 when they retired to the Hill Country and then to Austin where Billie lived for 18 years. She is survived by L.B., two children daughter Betty Milstead and son-in-law Bill Holden, and son Reverend Thomas Oler and daughter-in-law Sharon Oler. She had six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Billie graduated from UT El Paso School of Nursing and became a devoted and highly regarded Emergency Room Trauma Nurse. She had gifted hands with sewing, needle work and knitting. Billie was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3208 Exposition Blvd., Austin. Obituary and guestbook online at wcfish.com
