Joseph Brizard

It is with the most profound sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Brizard on September 29, 2023 at the age of 93. Joseph lived a vibrant life filled with family and friends, where every moment had purpose.

He was the husband of the late Joan Kelly Brizard, and son of the late Alphonse Brizard and the late Evangeline Monette. He leaves behind his children; Robert (Carole Renaud), Ronny (Linda Brizard), and late Lawrence Brizard; his grandchildren: Aime, Joanie, Joey, Candace, Cory, Jennifer, James and his many great-grandchildren; his siblings: Francois (Suzanne), Benoit (Francine), Therese (late Marcel), Antonine (late Guy) and Marie-Reine (Jean-Claude). Fondly remembered by many relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Jean-Coeur and Gerard, and his sisters Andree, Madeleine, Marie-Claire and Roxanne.

At Joseph’s request, a small private ceremony will be held at Saint-Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Ottawa Heart Institute.
