Mary Tulloch

(nee Tulloch)

20 March 1922-17 December 2010

Born in Santa Cruz, Ontario (one of the lost villages flooded due to the building of the St. Lawrence seaway); daughter of the late John Thomas Tulloch and Ella May Bender. Passed away peacefully at the Hull Hospital on Friday December 17th at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Charles Russell Murray; cherished mother to John, Sue (Bob Beemer), Bill, and Janet (Rick Palmer). Proud grandmother of Ryan and Don Beemer; dearly loved sister of Jessie Ouderkirk and Vera Shaver. Predeceased by brothers Borden, Bill and Tommy. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Jan Talmey and by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary had a kind and gentle manner that made her loved by all who met her. Her life revolved around her family and her faith. In her later years these supports helped to keep her strong and accepting of the difficult challenges she had to endure.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff and residents at Le Monastère in Aylmer, Quebec for their kind & loving care during the past 4 years.

Family and friends may pay respects at Funérarium Beauchamp (47, Denise Friend, Aylmer, 819-684-1155) on Tuesday, December 21st from 3-5 and 7-9. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 23rd at 11am at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 160 rue Principale, Gatineau (Aylmer), QC. In memoriam donations to The Alzheimer’s Society, St. Vincent de Paul, or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
