Alice Sevier

Alice Sevier (nee Fitzgerald), 86, of West Islip, entered into Eternal Life on December 21, 2022. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph V., in 1997. Devoted mother of Linda Sullivan (Stephen), Joann Rosado (Eddie), and the late Mary C. Bennett and Thomas J. Sevier. Adored grandmother of Catherine, Matthew, Joann, Edwin, Corina, Joseph, Veronica, Elena, Ricky, and Jaxon. Cherished great-grandmother of Justin, Leah, Bradley, and Charlie. Dear sister of Mary Grosse (Leo), Kay Salzone (Jimmy), Ann Fitzgerald, Jack Fitzgerald (Flo), and William Fitzgerald (Ann). Also survived by her beloved pet, Bailey. Alice was the Matriarch of the Sevier clan and their chief expert on how to throw a party. She will forever be remembered for her laughter and love for parties. When she loved, it was with her whole heart and her smile lit up every room she entered. Her loving smile and laughter will be forever missed by each life that she touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Tuesday, December 27, 2022, 2:00 pm-4:30 pm & 7:00 pm- 9:30 pm. Funeral mass 10:30 am Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
