Bernard G. Ferguson

Bernard G. Ferguson, 77, of North Babylon, entered into Eternal Life on Friday, March 10, 2023. Beloved husband of 52 years of Barbara (nee Cummings). Devoted father of Steven (Stephanie), Scott (Erin O'Neill), and Brian (Farah). Adored grandfather of Meghan, Matthew, Payten, Londen, and Caitlyn. Loving brother of Peter. Predeceased by his parents, Bernard V. and Charlotte (Murray) Ferguson. A proud United States Navy Veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War (1964-1966), Bernard was a signal maintainer for the NYCTA. An avid Star Trek fan, Bernard truly loved his collection of memorabilia from the television show and motion pictures. In addition to this, he gave a great deal of his time to the Boy Scouts of America, even years after his own sons had grown up. Bernard will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Wednesday, March 15, 2023, 2 pm-4:30 pm & 7 pm-9:30 pm. Funeral service at the funeral home at 10:15 am Thursday, March 16, 2023. Interment to follow with full military honors at Calverton National Cemetery.
