Donna Lynn Filippazzo

Donna Lynn Filippazzo (nee Weiner), 67, of West Islip, entered into Eternal Life on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Beloved wife of 40 years of Richard Filippazzo. Devoted daughter of Sheila and the late Robert Weiner. Adored mother of Michael, Scott, and Lindsay. Dear mother-in-law of Gabriela. Cherished sister of Lori and Amy. Born in Queens and raised in East Northport with her sisters, Donna was a special education and preschool teacher before she became a full-time mom. She loved reading, playing cards, spending time with her family and friends, whether over a cup of coffee or for long talks on the phone. Donna cherished the time she spent talking with her sisters, caring for her grand-dogs, Kiara, Maverick, and the late Ryley, scrolling through Tik Tok videos, or watching Dateline and Forensic files with her husband, Richard. She also loved dramas and listening to the fire department radio, keeping up with the latest news in her community. Above all, Donna loved her family with all of her heart and she will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that she touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R.
