Dorothea G. Petraglia (nee Treacy), 84, of North Babylon, entered into Eternal Life on Friday, March 13, 2026. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Guy, and her daughter, Arleen. Devoted mother of Loretta and Guy. Loving mother-in-law of Julie and Danny. Adored Nanny of Theresa, Vincent, Jamie (Stephen), Kayla, Nicole (Jordan), Daniel (Danielle), Anthony (Lindsay), Erin, Carlie, Gabriella, and Vincent. Cherished GiGi of Guy, Sophia, Isla, and Piper. Dear sister of Julia (Joe) and the late Russel (Joyce), Beloved Aunt to Joey (Dory), Julie (Stephen), and Carleen (Lou); She will also be remembered by her many great nieces and nephews. The matriarch who was the heart and soul of her family, Dorothea will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that she touched. She leaves this world a far better place than she found it.
