DIETZ, Edward Joseph, on October 5, 2020 went home to be with the Lord. Edward is a Loving father of William (Kim) Dietz, Jeffrey Dietz, Edward J. Dietz Jr., Doreen Teymour and the late beloved Eugene R. Dietz. Beloved grandfather of Jeffrey, Justin, Desiree, Shereen and Edward Joseph Dietz III. Cherished great grandfather of Aiden, Katalina, Richard and Bridgette. Adored brother of William, Robert and Marion Engel. Edward loved spending time with Eugene. He was a coin collector and loved to spend time gardening, taking car rides and being Mr. Foodie, with his love for food. He was in the United States Air Force where he was in the Korean war, and was a Merchant Marine. Friends and Family may visit on Sunday, at the Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, Babylon Village, 448 West Main Street, from 4pm-9:30pm. Funeral Mass will be Monday 10:30am, at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, 455 Hunter Avenue, West Islip. Inurnment service will be held Friday October 16, 11am at St Charles Cemetery.
