Eugene was the loving father of Alicia Soules and Julia Soules. He was a devoted brother to Denise Doherty and the late John Soules. He was a loving partner to Michelle. Eugene shared a special bond with his pet German Shepherd, Thor, who was not just a companion but a cherished member of the family.
Professionally, Eugene pursued a career as a truck driver, navigating the roads with skill and determination. Yet, beyond the confines of work, Eugene found solace and joy in various hobbies and interests. He had a passion for guns, fishing, football, and darts, relishing the thrill of competition and camaraderie. Eugene was also an avid movie buff and music enthusiast, finding pleasure in the diverse rhythms and stories they offered.
However, perhaps most cherished were Eugene's moments spent at the beach, accompanied by his loyal canine companion and beloved family. He found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, embracing each moment with a contagious zest for living.
Those who knew Eugene remember him as a man with a quick wit and a knack for humor. His infectious laughter and penchant for jokes brightened the lives of those around him. Eugene embodied a laid-back demeanor, choosing to savor the beauty of life's everyday moments.

A visitation for Eugene will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A final prayers will occur Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM. A burial will occur Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
