It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Florence Kiefer, at the age of 94. Florence was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025.
Born on February 21st,1931, Florence lived a life full of love, resilience, and joy. She was the proud mother of Diane Baldo (David), Gene Divers, and Patricia Weingart (who predeceased her)( Bill). Florence was also a devoted grandmother to: Jennifer Fama( Rick), Kendall Baldo, and William Weingart; great-grandmother: Noah Fama, and Theo Fama. Flossy leaves behind a legacy of warmth and strength for future generations.
In an era when many women didn’t work outside the home, Florence broke barriers as an Executive Secretary, a position she excelled in with grace and professionalism. Her career was a testament to her ambition, intelligence, and determination, qualities that she instilled in all who knew her.
Florence was a woman of immense strength, having faced life's challenges with unwavering resilience. Every trial she encountered only forged her into an even stronger woman. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and the deep love she held for her family. Above all, Florence cherished the moments spent with her loved ones, and her home was always filled with laughter, love, and delicious meals.
Outside of her family, Florence had a spirited side and enjoyed the thrill of playing the slot machines at the casino, where she spent many enjoyable afternoons. Florence will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and cherished memories.

A funeral mass for Florence will be held Monday, March 3, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 666 Albin Ave, West Babylon, NY 11704. Following the funeral mass will be an internment from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
