

Frank G. Mazzella, 89, of Babylon, entered into Eternal Life on January 26, 2024. Beloved husband of 62 years of Donna. Devoted father of Cheryl Mazzella Anderson and the late Karen Mazzella Olmstead. Adored grandfather of Karen Emily Anderson, Michael Patrick Anderson, and Brian Jonathon Olmstead. Cherished great-grandfather of Landon Steven Olmstead. Loving brother of Richard Mazzella and the late Frederick Mazzella. Frank was a manager in the fiberglass fabrication department of Grumman Aerospace in Bethpage, New York. He worked on the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM) for the Apollo Missions. A proud member of the Grumman Aerospace Retirees Club, Frank and several other Grumman retirees rebuilt a plane that is in the Smithsonian Museum in Washington. D.C. In his spare time, Frank loved fishing, gardening, cooking, fixing everything, and watching the New York Islanders. He loved to sit outside with the sun on his face and sitting in his garage, talking with all the neighbors and people passing by. Devoted to his wife and children, he relished spending time with his adoring children. A friend to all who loved talking with everyone lucky enough to cross his path, Frank will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched.
