James T. Brucia, age 85, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022. Loving husband of Jacquelyn. Devoted father of Granger (Jessica), and cherished grandfather of Granger James and Ashley. Jim was predeceased by his parents Benedict and Marion Brucia. Mr. Brucia served the Village of Babylon on the Planning Board, and Board of Appeals. As a member of the Babylon Beautification Society, he was instrumental in getting the Village clock placed on Deer Park Avenue and was involved with the administration of the Babylon Youth Project.
A visitation for James is on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 12:30 PM at St Joseph's RC Church, 39 North Carll Ave, Babylon, New York 11702.
James will be entombed in Pinelawn Memorial Park and Garden Mausoleums, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, New York 11735, with Military Honors.
