

Born on May 16, 1936, in Hazelton, Pennsylvania, Joseph was the son of the late Andrew and Anna Macejko. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, a chapter of his life that laid the foundation for his dedication to both his family and his work. After his service, Joseph went on to have a distinguished career as an airline mechanic, working for Pan American World Airways and later Delta Airways. His craftsmanship and commitment to his work were highly respected by all who knew him.
Joseph was the devoted husband of the late Rosemarie Macejko, whom he was married to for 48 years. Together, they raised a family full of love and pride. Joseph leaves behind his two sons, Joseph Macejko Jr. and Andrew Macejko, who will always cherish the lessons and memories their father imparted.
Joseph was also a proud grandfather to Rosie De Gaetano, Julie Cook, Samantha Macejko, Dylan Macejko and great-grandfather to Matthew Tirado, Zac Cook, Ryan Cook, Anthony De Gaetano, and Nico De Gaetano. His family was the center of his world, and he found immense joy in spending time with his loved ones.
In his free time, Joseph enjoyed hobbies such as bowling and bicycling, activities that kept him active and connected to his community. His warmth, humor, and kind spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Joseph is survived by his sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosemarie.
Joseph’s legacy of love, hard work, and dedication will continue to inspire those who knew him. He may have passed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
