Keshwar "Dan" Prashad

Keshwar "Dan" Prashad, 68, of Massapequa, formerly of Richmond Hill and Guyana, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025. Beloved husband of Artee (Dhanaswar) Prashad. Devoted father of Dr. Allysa Prashad and her husband, Christopher Persaud, and Navin Prashad and his fiance, Melissa Gittens. Adored grandfather of Mia Persaud. Dear brother of Suresh, Ramesh, Munesh, Chandra, Narinee, Kamla, and Indra. Predeceased by his dear parents, Mohabir Prashad and Latchmin (Ramsarran) Prashad. Before his retirement, Dan was an operating engineer with Local 94. In his retirement years, Dan loved cooking and gardening, but was at his happiest when spending time with his granddaughter. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched. A visitation will be held at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY, on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral service at the funeral home 10 am Saturday, August 23, 2025. Cremation to follow at Long Island Cremation Company, 91 Eads Street, West Babylon, NY.
