Truly miss you big brother. I remember the conversation clear as day like it was yesterday when you insisted that you would walk me down the isle when I got married… it hurts my heart you didn’t get the chance.. your nephews did the honors, you would’ve been proud. It’s doesn’t get any easier as the years go by! Wish I had my big brother to go to a Judis Priest concert with again, or to call me all hours of the night. I miss you so much. I have you no doubt you & dad are up there together watching over us. You’d be so proud. Love you

Missing you alot today.  I feel we've been cheated out of so much. It wasn't just to long ago we talked about you giving me away when I get married.  I love you and miss you more than words can explain.

I hung out with Kurt's younger brother Todd and we played several softball games against Kurt and his friends back in the day.  Kurt was an outstanding athlete and a lot of fun.  So sorry to hear.  John Carey

I knew Kurt since High school and he was just the coolest. We shared the love of Rock n Roll, and going to concerts, if Kurt was there, it was good times!
He was Sweet,  thoughtful, generous and he did the craziest things that would crack me up.  I'll always have the memories of Mulchays Reunion concerts, drinks at Mary Carrolls, and the funniest cab ride home i ever had..he was filled with love and life,  A Real Rockstar. I will miss his hugs. The first time Kurt met my husband,  
Adam was in awe by his charisma,  his uplifting attitude and total disregard for rules...they were instant friends...Kurt brought fun, love and life to everyone he met...Rock On My Friend..!

My friend and a friend to all. 
One of the best baseball players I ever knew. When he pitched and I was the catcher, he burned my hand on every pitch. When he played shortstop and I played first base, He burned my hand as well but always an accurate trow. As young men he hit the ball over the fence at Sawyer ave. Baseball field, which was almost impossible for all. Yet, Kurt did it. We were also on the traveling all start team together. When we were men, we lived across from each other in Babylon. Everyone is already missing you very much.

I knew Kurt from his work as an Concrete Plant Inspector for Universal Testing. Kurt was a very smart,  knowledgeble, professional, and kind person. He was always helpful, and reliable. We at NYSDOT will miss Kurt.

I would like to express my sincere condolences to Kurt's family and loved ones.

Kurt was a valued friend and asset to us, and, I am sure he will be a valuble friend and asset to whomever he meets on the next stage of his journey. We miss you Kurt! Godspeed!

Kurt Sautter was a very good inspector from Universal Testing Lab and very knowledgeable about taking care of our NYSDOT QC/QA Testing Results at the asphalt plants very well and the NYSDOT paperwork. 

He'll be missed very much. Wish him well and rest in peace and enjoy his new life in heaven.

I had to  share this picture with all of you because Kurt thought this was the funniest thing. He says “come with me, I need you to take my picture “.  he was laughing so hard because he took white out (could have been mayonnaise- not sure at this point) and put the word “white “ on the sign pointing to the “trash room”  and wanted a picture so here it is.. I hope that made you all smile, 

This one is hard to take.  You were one of the nicest and most generous people I have known in life.  You always had a positive  thing to say about someone else to build up their own self confidence, no matter who they were.  That says a lot about you and the way you lived.  Meet you on the other side, Kurt!

I have over 40 years of memories with you that I don’t know where to begin... thank you for loving me and my family as we love you!!! You will be missed terribly!!! We love you 

Kurtie I don’t even know where to begin to share memories because there are over 40 years of memories with you...we were blessed to have you in our family and lives and shared Many memories with my kids that adore you... Until we meet again RIP WE LOVE YOU and will MISS YOU!!!

Kurt was a good friend od my son, who passed away earlier this year. Kurt lived with us for a few months back in 1993. Kurt and I were recently in touch with each other and I had just mailed him a get well card the day he passed. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.  I picture Kurt hugging my son as they both meet again and forever rest in peace.
