On November 15th, 2023, with heavy hearts and profound sadness, we had to announce her passing. To say she was a beloved mother to Scott, Jason & Tami is an understatement. She is a cherished friend, and was the embodiment of love, leaving a legacy of warmth and compassion and a unique footprint for all to be proud of.
As a renowned intuitive/psychic numerologist for over 40 years, she astonished and educated so many with her gift. From the special honor of being named in the book, Top 50 Psychics & Mediums, to all the live events, radio shows, psychic fairs, and private readings, Lois graced the world with her presence and touched the lives of all fortunate enough to know her. She loved her work!
Her impact is felt in the shared stories, laughter, and love that will continue to resonate within our hearts. She was a free spirit and her strength and sarcasm were unmatched. Lois was an extraordinary mother whose love knew no bounds. Her unwavering support and guidance were a source of strength for her children and her nurturing spirit created a home always filled with love, laughter, and a sense of security. She was a caregiver and a true friend, offering solace in times of need and celebrating the joys of life with
unparalleled enthusiasm.
Lois is survived by her son, Jason, daughter, Tami, and grandchildren whom she loved more than anything, Kaila, Tyler, Sophia, Ameerah, Chyah & Michael - who will continue to carry her legacy of love and kindness. Her son-in-law, Dimitri, and daughter-in-law, Gina whom she would always let people know she considered as her kids along with Scott’s fiancé, Kerri, who was the newest addition to her family. She will be missed by her nephews and cousins and there are so many people that she considered her family, even if not by blood to mention. Lois has lived in many places. She always spoke about her best years in West Islip, NY with her family (and horses - which were her first love). However, where her heart always desired was upstate NY, her forever home in West Kill, NY with her life partner, Joe, was definitely her favorite place to be.
Lois faced life with resilience and grace, and her legacy lives on through the values she instilled in her children and the countless lives she impacted along the way. She made you feel at home, she had a way about her that drew you to her. Her memory and presence will forever be cherished and will undoubtedly be felt in the lives she touched.
A memorial service for Lois will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Claude R. Boyd - Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W Main St, Babylon, New York 11702.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.Boyd-Spencer.com for the Martin family.
