It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lucy Ann Motto, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Lucy was predeceased by her adoring husband, Julius, with whom she shared a beautiful life and raised two wonderful sons, Michael and Steven.
A proud and passionate woman, Lucy brought fire, glamour, and love into every room she entered. She was always dressed to the nines—never without her lipstick, jewelry, and signature sparkle.
Lucy spent her career working in banking, but her true joy came from the time spent with her family. Many cherished memories were made during summers on the Jersey Shore, where she and Julius created lasting traditions with their boys.
She had a flair for fun and creativity. Lucy enjoyed shopping, bingo nights, visits to the casino, and working on ceramics—especially glazing her handmade pieces. She was a fantastic cook and loved sharing meals with loved ones around the table.
Lucy was a proud member of the Sons of Italy and carried her heritage with pride throughout her life.
She leaves behind her loving sons, Michael and Steven, and their wives, Heidi and Monique, whom she embraced not just as daughters-in-law, but as daughters, her treasured grandchildren Nicolette, Gianna, Michael, and Anthony, and her dear sister Marie Esposito, and last but not least her pups Charlie and Brittany. Her presence, laughter, and fiery spirit will be missed deeply by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests an arborvitae, crepe myrtle. Her children would like to plant them in Lucy’s honor—so her spirit may continue to grow and flourish in the world she so brightly colored.
