Marie Jost

Marie spent most of her life in Roslyn Heights, New York, where she made her home for 38 years and built a life centered around family, dedication, and love. She worked as an office manager at Stars Physical Therapy for 18 years, where she was known for her commitment, warmth, and the lasting relationships she formed with colleagues and patients alike.

Marie was a devoted mother to her daughter, Jessica Marie (Warren), and a proud and adoring grandmother to her two grandsons, Zachary and Dylan, who brought immense joy to her life. She cherished every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her loving brother, Robert, as well as many nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly. Marie was predeceased by her longtime companion of 18 years, Eddie, and by her parents, Vito and Catherine Magrino.

Marie had a vibrant personality and a love for life’s simple pleasures. She had a special fondness for the color purple and was a devoted fan of Elvis Presley, whose music brought her much happiness.

She will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the deep love she had for her family. Marie’s presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Monday, April 13, 2026, 2:00 pm-4:30 pm & 7:00 pm-9:00 pm. A Funeral mass will be held at 11:15am on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at St. Josephs Church in Babylon, NY. An interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
