Maurice Gregory DeSouza, 72, formerly of Annandale, East Coast Demerara, Guyana, entered into Eternal Life on Saturday, March 9, 2024. Beloved husband of 52 years of Edell. Devoted father of Mark, Leon, and Treena. Cherished father-in-law of Padminie, Somwattie, and Fitzroy. Adored grandfather of Jayden, Leah, Lucas, and Ajay. Dear brother of Neshaw Tikaran and her husband, Lloyd, and the late Dennis and Albert, and brother-in-law of the Ramnauth family. Maurice, affectionately known by his family and friends as Morris, was a building contractor who loved baseball, cricket, gardening, and most of all, his family. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched. The DeSouza family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Friday, March 15, 2024, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral service Saturday, March 16, 2024, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the funeral home.
