Maynard being honored for his Military Service at a Long Island Ducks Game

From one old rascal to another old rascal.

Maynard, I want everyone to know that you were an American patriot raised in traditional Middle-Class American values. A conservative American with a big heart. What America should be all about.

A lifelong Second Amendment advocate, you understood the gift of forever freedom the Great Founding Fathers gifted us with this Constitutional Amendment.

In your youth, you were known for 55 Chevy modified 301 cubic inch hot rods.  A star automobile mechanic, you built fast cars.

We shared a nearly lifelong friendship that few have ever experienced. The genuine friendship that we shared can ONLY be earned over years, not bought. 

When I left New York, I experienced great sadness in leaving my all-time best friend and his loving wife, Linda, behind. In our early married years, we spent weekends and holidays together with our spouses and families. I enjoyed every minute of our friendship. An enduring, unending friendship.

I love Linda like a good sister for looking after you for a lifetime!

Never will I forget our coming-of-age years in our favorite beer joints with Joe Nagy, George Schneider, John Corcoran, Ralph Davies, and Charlie Koltz, sometimes rowdy but always joyous. Fantasizing about hot chicks on the TV-Movie screen, and hot rod and super stocker fast automobiles.  We really had good times. We were quintessential young Middle-Class American men. 
 
I hope to make the grade and meet up with you in Heaven one day. I'm sure they have beer joints up there where I can sit with you, Joe, George, John, Ralph, and Charlie, and we can party.

Until then my very best friend ever, I will miss you ever so much! Not a day will go by that I will not think about you and our World Class friendship, and long for your companionship, forged in forever Brotherhood.

Maynard is a great neighbor, we were very lucky to have known him for over 40 years. Since we moved to TN we have missed him yelling hello from across the street.  Missed his horn blowing on special holidays. Miss all the great car advice and where to find the best parts. We did talk on the phone quite often. We will surely miss him now. Linda we truly  give our deepest condolences to you and your family. May God watch over you. 

My Dear Brother, you will be missed forever and always in my thoughts.  I remember all the good times,  the get togethers and BBQ’s we had with family and so many good friends.  I miss the hunting trips we shared with our older brother Sandy and so many friends from Malone.  The fun times at the American Legion Hall.  
Thankfully we have the promise of a resurrection with eternal life in Gods Kingdom on earth.

Maynard will be greatly missed.  He was a good friend to my husband and myself.  Maynard and Linda were our witnesses  at our wedding ceremony and after, they took us out for a great dinner.  Good friends like them are hard to find.  Rest in peace, you are already greatly missed.  John and Jo

Maynard was a hard working, loving husband and father.  He adored his wife Linda and appreciated the girls they had together- Kori and Kerry .  He was a husband, dad, brother, brother in law and grandfather to 3 boys. 


His other love was “CARS”.  The ones he favored he purchased- in “mini” size.  He attended car shows and frequented car races in Riverhead with Linda and friends.  Always in our hearts!He was an “outdoorsman “ and hunted with his brothers and friends from Malone, Ny.  All enjoyed his company when we got together at brother Ken & Dottie’s house.
