Raymond Thomas McKay, 83 years old, of Palm Coast, Florida, (formerly of Copiague, Long Island, New York), passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012. Beloved husband of Margaret for 60 years. Loving father of Raymond Jr., Sharon, John, and Patrick. Cherished grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of two. A proud US Army Veteran, Raymond served in Japan during World War II. Raymond was a highly skilled woodworker, and also a member of the Elk’s Lodge.
Mr. McKay's Memorial Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, October 25, 2012, from 7:00-9:30 PM, at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon Village, New York 11702. Raymond’s Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday October 26, 2012, at 9:45 AM, at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 39 N. Carll Avenue, Babylon Village. Inurnment with military honors will follow at Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale New York.
