Robert E. Drechsler

Robert E. Drechsler, 74, of West Babylon, New York, and The Villages, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 5, 2025. Bob was a retired LIRR Conductor and Golfer Extraordinaire. Beloved husband of Kathleen M. Drechsler (nee Walsh). Adored father of Tracy Drechsler-Waite and Kelly (Eric) Reese. Proud Poppi of five: Hailey Reese, Kayla Reese, Mackenzie Waite, Blake Reese, and Maxx Waite.

Dear Brother of Richard L. Drechsler and fond Brother-in-Law of Thomas Walsh and Susan Walsh (Greg Mallow). Bob is also survived by a family of close and loving friends. Bob, your wings were ready, but our hearts were not. You will be missed forever.

The Drechsler family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, 2:00 PM-4:30 PM & 7:00 PM-9:00 PM at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702. Funeral Mass 11:00 AM Thursday, May 15, 2025, at United Methodist Church of Babylon, 21 James St, Babylon, NY 11702.
