I am so sorry to hear of Stephen's passing. Every year, when most people dread doing their taxes, I actually looked forward to it because I knew I'd get to chat with Stephen for a while. Such a nice guy and so intelligent. I going to miss him. Rest in peace, Stephen.

So sad to hear of Steve's passing.   So very sorry he struggled so much these last months.   He was a wonderful neighbor and just a general nice guy.   We will miss his friendly manner and sharing gardening ideas, as neighbors often do.   Condolences to Melissa, who no doubt made his struggles bearable, and hopeful.

Stephen,  Thank you for the 30+ years of not only being my accountant, but a good listener and friend. I'm going to miss our yearly visit. All the laughs and ridiculous stuff we would talk about. I'm really going to miss you. For that hour I would sit with you, never felt like the doom of tax season, but hanging out with a friend I haven't seen in awhile. Thanks for that. I first met Steve when he was in that house on Nicholls Rd. I was a newlywed who managed to mess up pretty good with the IRS and Steve didn’t just help me fix it. He did it like a friend would. That was 2006. Since then, he became a trusted consultant, a business advisor and genuine friend. Someone I felt so comfortable with because I knew he genuinely cared. He was there when my dad passed and helped me sort out the mess that was like Steve did. With compassion. 

Rest easy my friend. I will forever miss our talks, therapy sessions, laughs, snarky texts, and most importantly, knowing I had someone truly in my corner. 

I’m asking God to grant peace to all of his family and friends.

Steve was a magician when it came to accounting. He was such a nice person too. Soo sad to hear he's gone. He will be greatly missed. God bless you Steve . Your were one of the greats. Rest in peace

I've known Steven for over 20 years, ever since he was at portfolio planners  as he was our tax man. I always looked forward to seeing him, as that's when we would always catch up.  He would always ask about my husband as he has his own health issues.  I not only seen him as a tax man but a true friend and considered him as part of our family. I will miss seeing him but I will always have him in my thoughts and prayers.  RIP my friend, as you are no longer suffering.

Steve started out as my accountant, and we became friends throughout the years, we shared our love of music, the beach, and dogs, sorry to hear of his passing, but I know he was suffering for a time,  he’s at peace now,  playing his guitar for the angels choir!

We were just notified of Stephens  Passing. We are very sorry to hear this sad news. He was our Tax and Accountant Guy.  I always looked forward  to having our taxes done, because he was always so nice, and him and I joked around and talked Politics.  He was always  so impressed by how prepared and informed my wife was when we got together to file our income taxes.  . Stephen will be missed as a Friend, not just our Accountant. t’s hard to find the right words when someone passes,  especially someone you haven’t seen in a long time, but who was still a part of your life story.

Even though life took us in different directions, I still remember the moments we shared, the sound of your guitar coming from your room, and your love for cars. Those memories have stayed with me.
