
Venera Fabrizio, beloved mother, grandmother & great grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on November 3, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York. She carried with her the warmth, strength and traditions of her Sicilian heritage throughout her life. Venera was a woman who brought people together and whose presence meant everything to the people who loved her. She loved music, especially Elvis Presley gospel music and enjoyed spending time with family and playing games like Rummikube and sharing stories. She had a warm personality and a way of making those around her feel comfortable and loved. One of the little things those closest to her will always remember is how she would say "Ciao", when saying goodbye. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Lawrence Fabrizio and her sisters Carmela Spatafora & Grace Bonadies. She is survived by her sons John Fabrizio & his wife Carmen, Lawrence Fabrizio & his partner Kimberly Divinsky, daughter-in-law Kenia Fabrizio, her grandchildren Gina Fabrizio, Tony Fabrizio & his wife Patty, and Daniel Fabrizio and her great grandchildren Bella Hendrix and Vinny Hendrix. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and cherished friends. Venera's greatest pride was her family. She was a steady and loving presence in their lives and the memory she created with them will be cherished forever. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her and loved her.
