We work together at New York State Department of Transportation for a number of years. The man was a saint.


Vincent was truly a nice guy and honest.  I remember Vincent from school and his wife Felicia..... Vincent left this world much too soon, but he is definitely walking among the best in heaven.  Be at peace Vincent.

Vinnie's passing is a great loss to so many...to his family, Felicia, Nicholas and Matt...our thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the days, months and years ahead. Everyone who had the privilege of working with Vinnie at the Town of Islip is so sad because of his passing, but we certainly are a lot better for having known Vinnie and having him be such a special part of our lives. Our hearts ache, but I know that I will always have a special place in my heart for Vinnie. May the good Lord continue to bless Vinnie and forever keep him in His loving care.

To Felecia and family- I felt so sad when I read about Vinnie's passing. My heart breaks for all of you. Please know you are in  my prayers, my heart and my thoughts. My high school memories of the both of you are happy ones and ones that immediately came to mind when hearing the sad news. Stay strong Felecia..you have a beautiful family around you . God bless you all.

I didn't have the honor of knowing your father but know Nick. He was my daughters volleyball coach.  Julia sends her love and condolences.  There are no words that can make losing such a pillar of love and strength in the family so suddenly.  Peace be with you.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Vinnie was a beautiful man. Very kind, extremely funny, and just a kind soul. I work with Vinnie @ DPW and he always made my day bright..always played funny jokes that would just make my day!
You have my deepest sympathy and please know he will be sorely missed.

He was the son of my great aunt. I only met him once, last year when he along with his wife, 2 sons with their wifes and 2 grandchildren visited Iceland.  It felt like we had all known him for a long time, he was very much our cousin and loved relative.  He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers to Felicia, his sons and rest of the family.

When I first heard the name, I was hoping it wasnt him. West Islip lost an angel. May his memory be eternal. Will miss him.

 Vincent was very kind , gentle , smiling , caring and loving friend . He was the type of guy who when first meeting him you knew he was warm and genuine . Always talked fondly of his family and so proud of being a grandfather . I , as well as many , will miss the warm smile and heavy handshake . We pray for Vincent and his family .Godspeed Vincent .
