You were such a beautiful baby and I loved that I spent so much time with you. When you were a baby you used to fall asleep on my chest as I sang songs to you. How I wish time could go back to those days. I love you my little King.

You always had a smile on your face. It made me feel so loved. You know how much you meant to me and we had a special bond one that no one or thing could break. I love you more.

Vito, I still remember the winter you were born.  It was a snowy winter. I remember your mom coming down to our apartment to visit the last weeks of her pregnancy with you.  She would ask me to make her a bicarbonate soda and water for her heartburn.  And how can I ever forget when you came to California for Denis and Vickie’s wedding?  It was the best time ever!  I think we laughed and sang Billy Joel songs for a straight week! To this day, whenever I hear “Brenda and Eddie” I still think of you and that time in our lives and how much fun we had at the wedding.  You were so handsome and full of life!  We all danced the entire night and you graced us with your epic “worm dance.”  I think you my might have upstaged the bride with that one.  It’s one of the most memorable times in my life.  We were all so happy when you were entertaining moving out to California.  But life took you in another direction, and we were happy for you, too.  These past years, it was so selfish of me to not visit you as often as I should have, my loss.  I love you Vi, please give Lor and Titi a kiss for me.  Rest in peace my beautiful cousin.

I lost a brother.
I  grew up with you, I lived with you, I laughed with you and I cried with you. Visiting you lighten up my day. With everything you were going through you never were negative, your memory was sharp and Your sense of humor was spot on. I never laughed so hard then when we were together. I will miss you so much bro.

My sweet uncle Vito.  I still can’t comprehend that you’re gone. My heart breaks every time I think about it. How will I never see my sunshine again. My heart just hurts.  Uncle Vito, life wasn’t very fair to you but you wouldn’t know it by talking to you. You were always so positive.  You never let anything  dull your smile and you always had something funny to say. Always a jokester even to the end. I pray you are in Heaven with papa and grandma.  I pray you can run, dance and enjoy the freedom your disease stole from you so many years ago.  I selfishly want you back but I trust this is all part of God’s plan no matter how hard it is.   I love you so much Uncle Vito.  I will never forget you putting your adult Alf costume on me so I could trick or treat and get us some extra candy or coming over with my US weekly magazines so we could have our celebrity trash talk. I will never forget the twins little performances they’d put on for you at your bedside and the joy it would bring us all. And our window visits during the peak of coronavirus because I was so petrified you’d get sick.  I will never forget the love and the  laughs we’ve shared.  Thank you for being an inspiration to us all💕 Rest In Eternal Peace with grandma and papa and please watch over our family.  I am comforted to know Joseph and Madison have another guardian angel watching over them. You will always be my sunshine ☀️💕

I was lucky to call Vito Carlucci, Jr. my uncle and even luckier to have him as my Godfather. I was even named by him…Apparently, after some crush he had. I often joked with him about how ridiculous it was that my mother let a little boy with a crush name me! Actually, we often joked about a lot- more so when we were both adults of course. Any one who knew Uncle Vito, knew there were always laughs to be shared when you were with him and there was a good chance they were pertaining to something inappropriate. 
One night, when I was living in the apartment on the side of Grandpa’s house, I was “chilling” (out of the window of course) - when I heard a knock at my door. Instantly paranoia set in. I opened my door to find Gramps there. He looked at me with this very serious face and said, “Your Uncle smells something and he wants you to share”. I didn’t know what to think, after all, he just outed me to my grandfather. When I walked in though, he was laughing so hard that I started cracking up. Even Gramps got a good laugh out of it.
That’s who Uncle Vito was. He was someone who never took things too seriously and he always knew exactly how to make anyone smile. All of those years he suffered from this horrible disease and he never let it steal his happiness. 
I remember when I first introduced him to my now husband, Larkin, he tricked him into doing the “Soulja Boy” dance for him. He told him he didn’t believe he knew it. It was quite the sight as all of us watched a grown man dancing for him! 
My best and dearest memories though, are those of my children (specifically my girls) with him. From the moment Destiny could walk she would climb into his bed and sit with him. They always had such a special bond. He even gave her her “Diva” nickname. It was no surprise that when Clara was old enough to climb in his bed, she did the same.
Thank you for giving us so many beautiful memories. I think Damian said it best- you truly were this family’s Angel on earth!

   Uncle Vito, you were the Sunshine to our
cloudy days and an inspiration to us all! You will
be Remembered by, your smiling face, good
advice, not so appropriate jokes and all no
matter how bad you were feeling just to make
someone else feel good !I feel so sad but also
some happiness for you to be free of this disease
that has had you bed bound for more than 1/2

I met Uncle Vito in 1994. What an amazing man straight out the gate. The sparkle in his eye, the love in his smile and the power he showed to go on was contagious. He lived to be sassy and laugh. 
My favorite memory was the day Mandee came home from the hospital and able to be held in Uncle Vito's arm in his recliner. The glow in his face as he held and looked at her melts my heart every time. 
I'm sorry I did not get there often to visit. But i cherish the memories of when we did. I will never forget the love that has been given to me by Uncle V and the whole family as long as I live. 
I am happy you are no longer trapped in a body that prevented you from doing all you wanted. Now you can watch over us all when we need you most. 
The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord lift his countenance upon you and give you peace. Amen. Rest in peace Uncle V knowing you will be missed, but by no means ever ever forgotten!! I love you to heaven and back! 😘

Thank you for all the awesome memories uncle Vito. You were always my favorite person growing up and everyone else's. There were so many things about you that inspired me to be the person I am today like when something goes wrong just laugh about it and try again. We had so many good times together and inside jokes always laughing. Im lucky to have grown up with such a positive person in my life. I am at a total loss for words…. You were the most inspirational person I’ve ever known. I have and will always think of you as my superhero. Every time I’ve felt like giving up I thought of you and that smile of yours always got me through. I am so glad you got to see Jessica grow up into adulthood. I will miss hearing Mom, Tata and Titi Anna singing to you while I’m on FaceTime. It was always the highlight of my week.  I know even in the afterlife you will never let me forget I left you behind when the angry ducks attacked in Belmont Park. I love you forever and always.

When you were born you became our little  king .  My sweet boy, I really wasn’t around when you were little because I moved away. I am so happy that you were able to spend the last two years of your life in my home.   I don’t know how you did it baby you were such an inspiration to me .  You always had such will power to live .  I loved when I came downstairs  into your bachelor pad  and we had our coffee while chatting on the portal with our sisters.  I will always remember your beautiful smile , the times we watched our series together and how many times I’d have to wake you when would fall asleep while we were watching them and you pop your eyes open and say I’m up .  My brother you became my son while living with me and my heart has grown stronger because of your strength .  Thank you for always making me laugh when I was down .  I’m going to miss your mad faces when I couldn’t understand you and the laughs we’d share  when I’d  call you out on it and we would both laugh .   I was grateful we were able to do our traditional dance together at my wedding. I will carry that memory with me always . It is never going to be the same for me, for I have lost not only my brother but my  sunshine too.  I know it’s time for you to be with mommy and daddy because daddy came to take you home .  RIP my sweet boy and come visit me with them.  I promise to always have bird food for the three of you .  I know you will always be here with me in my heart spirits and mind . I now have another angel to watch over me . I love you my sweet boy. May you rest in eternal peace. 

They say you judge a man by his character....for 36 years Vito has been a part of my life. First as a client, than a boyfriend, than a husband, than a co parent. We did a lot behind the scenes with raising Anthony.  We were always in agreement. He was always in the loop. We punished together and celebrated Anthony's achievements together. Our son always came first no matter what disagreements we had. Though we honestly had few. There will be a permanent void in my life. But you will always remain part of the family and all our future achievements will always include you. Rest in peace my love ❤  

What can I say? Still shocked and grieving over the loss of one of my oldest and dearest friends. He was and will forever be a brother to me and I am honored, that having never had a father myself,  how Papa Vito (as my boys called Mr. C)  took me in and called me his son. The same as I considered myself the one kid brother, his sisters, Carmen, Ruthie, and Anna never wanted (lol). I cherished our friendship and adored this man, his strength, fortitude, and positive outlook were always inspiring. For over 48 years we were friends and every moment shared was a fond one. Our children loved and called him Uncle Vito and shed tears like I never expected when they heard he had passed. Vito, even though he truly was a puto, will eternally be remembered as a hero. One who was delivered the worst of breaks but took it on the chin, stared and smiled back at it, confident that it would never get him down. I love you, brother and will miss you more than you will ever know, but I will see you again. Love, Billy

I met Vito back in 1985 through Rob, who was my boyfriend at that time. So many memories going to Vito & Mr Carlucci’s house for some fun nights and parties. Going to concerts & clubs.  Working at Carlucci’s Pizzeria in North Babylon during my high school junior and senior year and spending a couple of days working in their Hamptons store was so much fun.  This was when I met Anna, Ruthie and Vito’s entire loving family. I remember Vito’s Cadillac that he was always upgrading the sound system.  Vito always enjoyed life and when he was diagnosed with MS that never stopped him from living. Mr Carlucci, Anna and the family researched and got Vito the best doctors and care.  Over the years I moved away, but we stayed in contact and I visited when I was in Deer Park.  Vito always had a smile on his face, he loved life, and most importantly being around people, his friends and family. I have so many more fond memories and love for you that I carry in my heart each day.  

Vito was such a sweet soul, I remember his clicking sucking sounds he would make to get our attention.. 
He Loves his TV shows especially the soaps and Ellen. You have to play his 🎵 music, he knew every songs. 70sand 80s was his jam. Sports omg I have to watch even when I never understand crap but I learned.. "go Yankee." He laugh when I dance for him, he always said good thing I have a day job.. 🥰because it wasn't good...he said he would have showed me some moves, because back in the day he was a "pro.." 
 He never complained. If you asked him if he's ok, he'll said yes even when he's not. 
He was funny, hilarious always makes you laugh.
 On Friday when I was leaving, I hug and kiss him as I always do, i said see you on Monday buddy. He smiled as usual. And said I love you Marie. 
Little did I know was the last time I would have heard his voice. He was my baby he called me his Mama.. I will always cherish the memories we created. 
I want to thank his son Anthony, sister, Carmen, Ruthie and Anna for allowing me to work along with Vito for the past 10 years.
 I love you guys. 
Take comfort knowing he's at peace ✌️,no more pain or suffering. 
It's always hard to say goodbye.
But Vito is a lover and want us all to be happy.

Gonna be strange come NFL playoff time and won’t be able to have our “Strategy” sessions for my Playoff and Super Bowl pools. Enjoyed those times especially when we won🤣. Never forget when the Giants won the SB First time against the PATS abs the Miracle “Helmet” catch you Called the Drive. I said your nuts…. No way ,,,,, you never let me forget it. Good Times……. Ok … all kidding aside …. Sick or not…. You lived it to the Fullest …. Never gave In …. Always fwd …. Rest well. Brother you earned it

I don’t even know where to begin, my earliest memories are riding the bus to elementary school together , watching you play hockey in the street, many teenage memories of doing things we shouldn’t have been doing but what I cherish most through all the years is the friendship we had. Vito was the sweetest, funniest, happiest friend you could have & no matter what was going on in my life I could always come to Vito & he’d have me forgetting all my woe’s & smiling & laughing. I will miss our visits & miss my friend forever but I know I’ve got an angle waiting till we meet again in Heaven. I love you Vito may you Rest In Peace.

My first memory is the day you came home with your mom and she placed you in the bassinet. I remember eagerly approaching and on tippy toes looking over to see your little face. We were buddies for years until Cali and life pulled us apart. The courage you showed over the years as you fought this battle will always inspire me. Your light will always shine!  Kiss Titi for me! I am so sorry to hear the loss of Vito. My deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. I have a fond and happy memory of Vito, any time I visited him with Mike he would always make the both of us laugh so hard telling jokes and just being the happy soul that he was. This really breaks my heart to hear of his passing, I know that he's in a better place and not suffering. Oh my Puto, you enriched my life soo much, when you were born was the happiest day of my life.  One of my favorite memories of us was when I used to teach you to disco dance 🕺 with me and we would set up a stage and pretend we were on American Band Stand show,  Sam and Mike would love how we entertained them all the time.  Another was our coffee clutch sessions in my kitchen.  
 
What I will miss the most is whenever I cook, I can’t pack up a plate of food for you,  I love that you always referred to me as your personal gourmet chef, and no matter what I made for you when I asked how it was , your reply was always AWESOME.

The thing I will miss most of all is our morning portal coffee sessions that always started with my good morning song to you then just talking about whatever came to mind and in between whenever me or Carmen took a sip of coffee you would signal Marie somehow to give you a sip .

RIP baby brother, I know your spirit will always be with me,  although my heart is so broken right now I know you are in a better place now , you are finally getting to be with mamita and your dad and you are no longer in pain, Vito the best part is now you can dance with mom, after all she taught me.

Vito from the day you were born, I was only 15 but I fell in love with you. Little did I know that you were going to be our little King! Your first word was Tata and you called me that for the rest of your life. I remember laying you on my chest to rock you to sleep. Your hair was blond and curly, your eyes were blue as the sky and you were always happy. You’re eyes changed to hazel in later years. Your antics started at a young age like ratting me out because I took you with me, you were 2, to visit my boyfriend. When Mamita came home and asked you how your day was…you answered. I see Paulie!! Now it’s hysterical but it wasn’t for me. You did so many things that made me proud of you. You loved bowling, playing Street hockey, bike riding, stick ball and basketball. You knew every stat of every player in sports.  I don’t know how, I teased you and said you had the brain of an elephant because you remembered everything. That’s also how you passed in school because you didn’t like studying but always managed to pass grades!  You loved so deeply and accepted people as they were not what they could do for you. Your first friends were Dennis Schall and Billy Tucci. They love you forever. I loved our morning FaceTime calls with the girls which started off with a good morning song by Ruthie and the staying up song by me. We chatted about every day things, You’re soap operas and whatever came into mind.  I love you my King Puto with all my soul. Stay by me, I’ll see you soon my love

I am so sorry I am not next to you. I am writing this with such a heavy heart. I have spent my life trying to live with you in my heart, your smile and humor has made me part of the young man I am today. I learned to be strong and to take what ever life throws my way and to make the most of it. The impact you have had on so many souls, and Papa Pizza as well. I hope to be just like you both. To influence and lift up the spirits of others, to wear a smile and to keep your head high no matter what. To help no matter what! I promise to keep the Carlucci name and the spirit alive. I promise to keep you in my heart, and to always make you proud of the son you created. You will always be my inspiration. 

I want to give a special thanks to my family, Titi Anna, Titi Carmen and Titi Ruthie. My father loved you all very much, and I am so appreciative of all the years of love and support you gave to my father and Papa. I want to let all your children know, my father loved you all so much  and from afar I love you all as well. Papa Pizza and My Grandmother would be so proud of the beautiful family they made!
