William G. Woods, 67, of Islip Long Island, New York, (formerly of Lindenhurst, New York), passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, August 24, 2017. A former General Manager with FedEx Trade Networks. Mr. Woods was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran, a member of North Babylon, New York High School Class of 1967. Member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 794, Lindenhurst, New York and member of American Legion Post No. 94, Babylon, New York. He always loved to sing and was a member of the Twin Shores Chorus of the Barbershop Harmony Society, Babylon. He also enjoyed playing golf. Beloved husband of Maryann. Loving father of Brian (Kendra), Kevin (Rita), and Denise Woods. Cherished “Pop” of Jake, Katie, Matt, Delaney and William. Loving brother of Patricia Zaleski (Richard), Florence Pincus, Linda Jahosky (Thomas) and the late Barbara Ann Woods.
