

Cecil was born in Paoli, Oklahoma to James and Mamie Hill on November 4, 1924, but lived most of his life in California.
After serving 16 years and 9 months in the army, including service in WWII and the Korean War and attaining the rank of Sergeant, he received an honorable discharge in 1961.
After being discharged from the army, he owned a gas station and worked in the swimming pool industry until retiring in 1985. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, working in the yard, and helping family with home projects.
He cherished his beloved dogs, Tweety, Skippy and Levi.
Cecil is preceded in death by his loving wife, Frances Hill; parents, James and Mamie Hill; daughters, Carol Blanton and Barbara Turner; son, Dan Smith; three brothers and three sisters.
Cecil is survived, loved and greatly missed by his children Lou Ann Campbell and Ike Hornsby; brother Alvin Hill; and numerous grandchildren and other beloved relatives.
Special thanks and much appreciation to Pro Care Hospice. Their assistance allowed Cecil to spend his last days on earth at home surrounded by family.
