Kevin Wayne Kron

Kevin Wayne Kron ...gone but never forgotten. March 30, 1978 - March 15, 2010 Kevin Wayne Kron was born on March 30, 1978. He was the middle child, born to Deborah Gather and Charles Kron. Kevin was born in Douglas, Wyoming but at age five, moved with his family to Bakersfield, California. Kevin continued the rest of his life in Bakersfield. He graduated from West High School, Class of 1996. He went on to enlist in the United States Navy in December 1996. Kevin served his country as E-4 petty officer 3rd class. He traveled the world and lived in Japan until his tour ended in December of 2000. Kevin returned home to become a father. The happiest moment of his life was the birth of his son, Spencer. Kevin loved Spencer more than anything else in the world and shined as a father. One of Kevins best qualities was that he was a wonderful friend. Kevin Kron was once described as a social butterfly. A man with a true, gentle heart who would befriend anyone. Kevin had a special gift with people. He could walk up to a complete stranger and make them smile. Kevin was always the life of the party. He was fun and unbelievably funny, but he was more than that, he was a genuine soul. Kevin loved the Chicago Bears, golfing, and socializing with family and friends. Most importantly, he loved his son Spencer. Spencer was his whole world. Kevin was preceded in death by grandparents, Fred and Jean Hayman and Charles Kron. He is survived by his son, Spencer Kron; his granparents, Robert and Mary Williams; his father and stepmother, Chuck and Sherry Kron; his mother and stepfather, Debbie and Kenny Gather; his brother, Christopher Kron; his sister Bobbi Kron and husband, Gilbert Guerrero; his nephews, Cameron and Chase Kron and Ethan Guerrero; his nieces, Skylar Granlee and Hannah Guerrero. A memorial will be held to celebrate Kevins life as follows: Sunday, March 21, 2010- public viewing at Mish Funeral Home (120 Minner Ave Bakersfield, Ca 93309) Monday, March 22, 2010- Funeral service at 11:00a.m., at Mish Funeral Home and burial to follow at 2:00p.m., at Bakersfield National Cemetery (30338 East bear Mountain Blvd. Arvin, CA 93203).
