Mary Rose Hernandez May 3, 1921 - November 18, 2011 Mary Rose Hernandez passed away November 18, 2011 in the presence of her loved ones. A service will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. located at St Francis Church, 900 "H" St. Bakersfield, California 93304. Mary was born to Frank and Marianna Vargas On May 3, 1921 in Toluca Illinois. She grew up with five brothers and five sisters in Dewight Illinois. Mary, settled down in Bakersfield around 1947. She was an amazing woman, very giving and loving person that touched many peoples lives. She loved to go on trips, to the beach and Las Vegas. She also loved to sew, paint and dance with her family and friends. She raised seven children on her own, teaching us that there was nothing we could not accomplish as long as we had "Faith". She is survived by her children, Frank Hernandez, wife Tina, Eva Sabedra, Lupe Villegas, husband Greg, Chuck Estrada, wife Debbie, Joe Estrada, wife Jill, Rita Salazar, husband Richard, 14 Grandchildren, 25 Great-Grandchildren 11 Great-Great-Grandchildren, three sisters, three brothers and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her eldest daughter Francis Marie O'rear, her Father and Mother, three sisters and one brother. Mom you are the heart of this family, the mere rock and strength that keeps us together. Even though it broke our hearts to lose you. You didn't go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home. We are so blessed to have had our own personal Angel here on earth!!! Thank you mom/grandma for loving us!
